The four scholars from Cordova are now entering
the 2nd semester of the 2-year certificate course on
Cruise Line Service Operations and Management (CLSOM) at the University of
San Carlos.
They have adjusted well to the university life together with their
classmates numbering 20 who are also coming from depressed communities.
JPIC staff was invited to one of the Dinner Production activities of the students as part
of their Food & Beverage subject where the group took charge of the whole
production from cooking the food to serving it to the guests.
They were acting like the management, staff and crew of a fine dining restaurant.
It was a good way of practicing their skills.
